I have my Renault can clip installed on 2 different Dell D630 one works fine and one has problem with Can clip diagnostic tool K-line not work (megan I, laguna, clio I ) ,Can-line (megan II, clio II )works Ok. Before I upgraded my version on the one with the problem both installs worked ok. My problem has only started since I upgrade v109 to v136 and turned the firmware update off. Just not got round to sorting it. Running on windows XP by the way. In a word, if the Renault can clip version is a newish one and you have turned off the firmware update try turning it back on. Windows XP operating system (very important) NOTE: Do not install or update FVDI 2015 diagnostic tool on Windows 7 or Windows 8 O/S, otherwise will cause problems. II Correctly connect FVDI 2015 Commander Follow the connect way to when update firmware and open authorization 1. Connect FVDI 2015 Connect the software USB dongle to FVDI. Come customers feedback that Autocom CDP pro works unsatisfactorily on some vehicle model, like BMW E60, BMW E90 and some Ford models. Here is the modification example carried out by CDP Pro VCI user-- manocao for making it work on BMW E90, E60 etc car models. Equipment: Autocom CDP Pro VCI OBD II diagnostic tool (it has released to newest 2014.02V) Multimeter A laptop Here is the instruction: The essential element of the modification is to change R74 and R75+2 K-line transceivers all together. If change first K-Line transceivers and than connect to any brand of cars, you will to buy another pair of transceivers. I Check if Autocom CDP Pro can work on BMW E60, E90 etc --Disable internet connection --Connect the Autocom CDP Pro with laptop via USB cable (do not connect it via Bluetooth wireless connection) and well connected it with vehicle --Select the same ECU of other car model of the same brand --Check 2 resistors and replace them > 390 ohm: R74/R75 SMD ones should be marked 391 or 3900 (not 39R0 = 39 ohm, not 300 = 30 Ohm), see picture 1 --Check and replace SI9241 K-line transceivers > 9241A: see also picture 1 --Check voltage on K and L line with a multimeter. Make sure vehicle idle on about 12V. When start communication with car lines shortly go down on about 1V. If you don't get that voltage drop, try to check signal on TX input of 9141 IC. If you have some pulse (from -5V to 5V) during initializing of connection with car then 9241 IC has some problems. But perhaps the transceiver is no problem, change 3.9 or 39 ohm > 560 ohm on pull-up resistor of SI9241 (or 470 ohm up to 1 Kohm)
-- Check and replace relays: see picture 3 Check K-Line communication: 1 relay in relay board freeze to position "ON". Open the relay with a knife and set the weight inside the spring to automatically switch to the OFF position (see picture 2) -- Come to the Autocom CDP Pro diagnostic software menu --Measure relay coils and check how many are ON: 3 relays must be ON in the program. If only 2 relays are ON, BMW E60 and E90 can not work. II Perform Autocom CDP Pro modification -- Only 2 red marked must be ON when standby, both 2 red and 2 green marked (1 relay for OBD pin 1 and 1 relay for OBD pin 7 and 15) must be ON with BMW (see picture 4) --Replace relays driver IC's LV125D > NPX 74LV125D (see picture 8 & 9) --When applied 5V on one relay, if 3 relays turn ON this is not OK, only one by one must turn ON (+ is common for all relays, drive with –, you can test all of them just moving ground) BMW problem is on relay PCB, if relays are ok, the problem must lie on one of the relay drivers. -- Replace MAX chips on relay board and if Ford does not work, get new OKI chip --Replace OKI chip that become defective with chip made in Japan or Thailand --Replace capacitors (need 47uF 50V for trucks) replace all capacitors on PCB to electronic --Replace voltage regulator near capacitors --Check and make sure all OBDII connector pins are straight, not bended -- Replace 4 resistors together max1487: R36 (R1143) 47 Ohms, R34 (R1144) 10K, R33 (R1141) 10K, R35 (R1142) 10K or 470 ohms (see picture 5) --Check resistor R58 and capacitors C11 and C5 (different between working and not working Autocom CDP Pro). --With 9241A diagram (also picture 1) you can see that K line need resistor to Vbat (this is 500ohm on both Autocom) and capacitor to GND (measured this capacitance in circuit and on working AC is 40nF and on non working AC is 100nF) or change C11 to 102pF = 1nF, see picture 6 --Solder some surface of PCB with hot air (see picture 7) --Open the clone PCB, make a good flux, remake all solders of the PCB --check/replace IC close to USB port ATMLH124 > 93LC4681 9241A diagram |
